Our Story
Our dream was to create a better life for ourselves , our family, our community, and our team members.
As immigrants from India to the United States in the 1970s, and newly married, we began our careers in Pravin’s family hospitality business, helping to run and manage a small lodging establishment in Oakland, CA.
Our first experience in hospitality inspired us to branch out on our own. With handwork, perseverance and strong desire to achieve an American dream we slowly started developing our own hotels while raising a family in our new home.
We also believed that we could make the most significant impact by giving our time and getting involved. We’ve been fortunate to participate in many activities to give back to our community, and to our beloved industry through our leadership on boards of lodging and tourism organizations and associations.
Over the years, we’ve learned the importance of surrounding ourselves with like-minded people who value service to others and work together for the good of the company, community, and industry.
Today, we’re proud that our dream has come to fruition and that we’ve built a company whose culture allows and inspires its team members to do what they love and love what they do. As we grow we are not only passionate but we stay Hungry to learn and grow, humble and remain agile. With new generation of leadership we are positioned to be a force to reckon with.
